Taking good care of one’s own resources is a central component of sustainable health. That is equally true in everyday work life. The interactive lecture “The personal energy balance – Mental health in everyday working life” presents scientifically grounded yet practical approaches to maintaining mental well-being and preserving one’s mental energy over the long term. Participants will learn which factors influence their energy balance in daily life, why stress often develops unnoticed and how they can focus their attention specifically on those levers that sustainably strengthen their mental health.

Using vivid examples and short awareness exercises, the latest findings from psychology and neuroscience are presented in an accessible way and can be directly applied to participants’ own daily lives.

The event is part of LMU Sustainability Week, which takes place from 9-13 November 2026 at various LMU locations.

This event will be held online on zoom. For more information on how to take part, please see the entry in the program.
